I’ve been unpacking, unpacking and then more unpacking.  I didn’t realize how much stuff I had until we moved! Or rather, how many clothes and shoes I have! haha!

The actual move itself went well, only one mishap with the movers which actually wasn’t there fault at all, they were great! Packed the place up, loaded boxes and furniture, then came and unloaded, I chose to do the unpacking myself. As how the heck would they know where to put anything when I don’t even know!?!

The biggest adjustments so far are for Luna, she no longer has a big yard to lay and play in. She now gets walked 4-5 times day, she LOVES going for walks around here, meeting people and dogs. Is it me or is it damn annoying when dog owners don’t pick up their dog shit? We’re in community living, there are signs (stating to pick up your dog shit), bags and bins are provided throughout the property. This morning there was a pile of dog shit right by the bin. RIGHT BY THE FUCKING BIN PEOPLE. I don’t get it. SO GROSS. Okay, done bitching, I just don’t get it though, there are plenty of perks to focus on!

We’ve got a pool here and I’m totally soaking up all the damn sun I can before I head to Houston for Curvy Summer Scene. I’m calling it my pre-houston tan, man. Yes, I have unpacking to do, laundry to put away, a plant to re-pot and I’m spending time at the pool. Why? Because I can. Because I want to and because I deserve it. I’m also hoping to enjoy some fireworks this week, I hope you are too!  I saw that there is a local patriotic pet parade, also hoping to attend that. Sounds SO CUTE, too bad it would be way too hot for my Luna Tuna to walk in it.

Well, it’s time for me to do my daily job search, shower, head to the pool for a bit and then return in the afternoon to put clothes away!

I know the blog posts have been sparse lately, I’ve just been so busy! Now that I’m begging to get a little settled, I’ll be blogging a bit more for you. I’ve missed writing, updating, and sharing little tidbits that I don’t share on Instagram.

XOXO – Leah
